Community & Technology Workshop

Tuesday 23rd February 2010  -  10:30 to 15:00 (lunch provided)


This event is an opportunity for people and organisations engaged or interested in working in South Bristol communities to explore the role of the Internet, websites, forums, digital media, social networking and other digital techniques in supporting, engaging, developing and representing Bristol communities.

The event will begin with presentations and then draw on best practice, including South Bristol community groups and neighbourhood partnerships and featuring their experience and use of online facilities and other technologies. The event will move to facilitated discussion, drawing out successful techniques and details of their implementation.

The event will serve to showcase successful strategies and promote awareness and networking amongst interested parties.
